A Bedford Park resident says she's still waiting for repairs after living with collapsed ceilings, mold, leaks and pests for weeks.

Maria Rodriguez says part of her kitchen ceiling collapsed on June 24 while she was getting water to take her medication. She says debris struck her, sending her to the hospital while recovering from surgery.

Just three days later, she says part of her bathroom ceiling also came down.

Rodriguez says the damage has left her apartment with a strong odor, mold, water leaks and bugs. She also says there's been an ongoing rat problem in the building, forcing her to board up her kitchen cabinets.

She says the conditions have taken a toll on her mental health, causing panic attacks and anxiety.
