Hudson Valley employers gathered at the Galleria Mall in Middletown Wednesday for Orange County's annual job fair.

Roughly 80 recruiters and employers from Westchester, Rockland, Orange, Dutchess and Sullivan counties were on hand for the event.

Organizers say employers have dozens of positions available due to low unemployment rates this year.

"Usually when that happens, when it's low unemployment, we have a large employer turn out and a little bit less jobseekers, but we still expect a pretty good group of jobseekers today," says Career Center Coordinator Marie Blair.

Organizers say nearly 1,000 people attended the event last year and expect the final total to be even higher this year.
