Over the weekend, the Hudson Valley witnessed a remarkable inaugural event as dozens of individuals came together to participate in “50 for the Fallen.”

Organizer John Janelli of New City proudly announced that this event successfully raised $12,000. The funds generated will be dedicated to supporting both active-duty service members and veterans dealing with mental health challenges.

Starting their journey at 7 a.m., participants embarked on a 30-mile trek, culminating their commendable efforts shortly after 6:30 p.m. The event's success not only showcases the community's unity but also underscores the dedication to aid those who have served and are currently serving our nation.
