This is the most dramatic step the committee has taken since launching its investigation in March.

Assemblyman Thomas Abinanti is on the Judiciary Committee and explains why this process is lingering into next week.
"Before we draft articles of impeachment and before we present them to the assembly and before the assembly votes on them -- we've got to make sure that we are prepared to make a presentation before a court," he says.
Cuomo's communications director responded to the subpoena saying, "the governor appreciates the opportunity. We will be cooperating."
The first woman to accuse Gov. Cuomo of sexual harassment - former aide Lindsay Boylan - now plans to sue him for allegedly leaking her personal files in retaliation for her claiming the governor kissed her without her consent.
Cuomo denies the allegations.
