Red Hook police say an illegal cannabis shop has been shut down after community complaints.

The department says Red Hook Exotics on Broadway was selling untested products from out of state with high levels of THC, the active ingredient in cannabis.

Detectives say one person made an anonymous complaint about becoming sick after consuming a product from the shop.
