Sports may be on pause in the United States – but a New Rochelle baseball coach is making sure his students are still staying active during the quarantine.
Justin Sherman is the founder of JustinTime Baseball – which offers one-on-one baseball training and clinics for players and teams in the Westchester area.
Sherman says that now he is learning to adjust and adapt with virtual baseball lessons, team practices and physical education classes to make sure his students are staying active and stay connected during the COVID-19 pandemic. He says that this is about much more than just baseball.
“The positively, the education component, is bigger than baseball and bigger than sports,” he says. “I think it’s critical now. This is where coaches can really shine through, I believe.”
Sherman says that he is looking forward to baseball coming back. More information about Sherman’s programs can be found on the
JustinTime Baseball website.
