Hundred gathered at Jack DeVito Memorial Field for a candlelight prayer vigil and to share their hopes for peace.
"24/7 I'm in my homeland. People are suffering especially kids, it's unbelievable," says Yorktown Heights resident Lyubov Semenko.
With Ukrainian pride and the country's flag on display, many of those attending the vigil brought donations, including toothbrushes, toothpaste, Tylenol  and diapers to be sent to support the people of Ukraine.
