All eyes were on Washington, D.C. on Tuesday as hundreds of thousands of Jews and Jewish allies packed the National Mall in the nation’s capital for a historic March for Israel.
A very large delegation from the Hudson Valley woke up at the crack of dawn to get on buses to DC, spend three hours rallying, and then coming right back.
More than 200,000 people from all over the country packed the mall to stand in solidarity with the State of Israel, to combat antisemitism, and to demand the release of the hostages taken by Hamas on Oct. 7.
"I'm hoping that for the families who are missing their loved ones, who have been captured. If they can see and have the opportunity to view and see what's being said and the support and the number of people that were here. I'm hoping it helps them, gives them strength and hope." said Scarsdale resident, Yaniv Blumenfeld.
News 12 was told Tuesday's event was the largest pro-Israel event in U.S. history.
