Hundreds from New York City, the Hudson Valley and all corners of the nation descended upon St. Patrick's Cathedral in Manhattan today to celebrate Christmas Mass.
Many in attendance say that they are upset over how commercialized Christmas has become.
"I just wanted to celebrate the real meaning of Christmas, and not just lights and trees and economic sales, and I wanted to get back to my roots, that our savior was born," says Greg Skow.
Despite the commercialization, those in attendance say that they were glad to celebrate the holiday in the cathedral.
