After a frigid week last week, temperatures started to improve over the weekend. Temperatures got back to normal levels on Sunday. Couple that with friendly skies, we had a “Pick of the Week” for the first time in a long time.
Today trended just as nice, but the good weather doesn't stop at the end of the day. Temperatures will continue to be at or above average during the work week, with several days including temps into the 50s.
There is a chance for rain showers (mainly north and west of Westchester County) on Tuesday afternoon. There is another chance for showers (nearly all day) on Thursday. The rain is needed as a large chunk of the region is experiencing some level of drought.
Wednesday is going to be very nice, with a mix of sun and clouds to mostly sunny skies and temperatures into the 50s. We get to see another “Pick of the Week” come our way very soon. Enjoy it, for, after Wednesday and the rain on Thursday, temperatures cool down to normal levels on Friday with breezy winds. There will also be another chance for showers on Saturday.
