Local eateries are preparing to take part in Hudson Valley Restaurant Week.
Starting Nov. 7, 154 restaurants across the region will offer a three-course menu at a discounted price for lunch and dinner.
The Valley Table held a tasting preview Wednesday morning in Pleasantville that featured four other restaurants that will also participate.
The event is meant to highlight local food businesses.
"You've got world class talent right here in Westchester County and the Hudson Valley, and here is our turn to give back, here's our turn to really support them and get a great deal,”  says Michael Martinelli, a publisher of The Valley Table.
The deals will run through Nov. 20.
Prix-fixe dinners will be offered at $44.95 or $39.95; lunches will be available for $29.95 or $24.95. Menus and pricing for participating restaurants can be found at valleytable.com/hvrw
