Residents throughout Hudson Valley are preparing for what might be the area’s first significant snowfall of the season.
Zugibe Hardware in Garnerville expects an influx of customers over the weekend.
Owner Candice Zugibe says one to three inches of snow can have a large impact on roads in the area.
“It can definitely make hazardous conditions, especially these days with the heavy buildup of traffic and everyone moving in from the city after Covid. So, the road conditions are more hazardous than they always were,” she said.
She also says the store is expecting visits from customers with broken pipes due to the cold temperatures.
