Steve Nicoli, the founder of the Hudson Valley Honor Flight charity organization, has lost his battle with COVID-19.

Steve Nicoli, the founder of the Hudson Valley Honor Flight charity organization, has died after becoming ill with COVID-19.
The 42-year-old was an Army veteran and commander of American Legion Post 158.
Nicoli leaves behind his fiancé and two sons.
Members of the Honor Flight will hold a candlelight vigil at their headquarters in Orange County at 7:30 p.m. at 40 Main St. in Walden.
A GoFundMe page has been started to help Nicoli's family with funeral arrangements.
