Hudson Valley educator crowned NY Elementary Principal of the Year

Clarkstown Central School District has a lot to celebrate because it was their very own elementary principal, Dr. Matt Younghans, who won the award.

A Hudson Valley educator was crowned New York State Elementary Principal of the Year. 
Clarkstown Central School District has a lot to celebrate because it was their very own elementary principal, Dr. Matt Younghans, who won the award.
The district says he has been leading for years and is adored by his students, staff and parents.  
He is credited with helping the school transition to Social Emotional Learning and, expanding the STEAM program.  
The award was granted by the School Administrators Association of New York State and the National Association of Elementary School Principals.
