Public works crews around the Hudson Valley say they're ready as the remnants of Debby hit the area.

Crews were out ahead of time checking storm drains and sewer grates to make sure they were clear.

The heavy rain earlier in the week caused the ground to be oversaturated, which is why Clarkstown Supervisor George Hoehmann tells News 12 he expects more flooding.

Wind is now an issue with the incoming storm, so Hoehmann says they are coordinating with the utilities companies to make sure they are ready to deal with any downed trees, wires and power outages.
