Hudson Valley COVID-19 infection rate reaches over 3% for 1st time since spring

The COVID-19 infection rate in the Hudson Valley has reached over 3% for the first time since the spring.
The rate currently sits at 3.08%. Two new deaths were also reported in Dutchess and Orange counties.
The infection rate across New York continues to climb as well, with the seven-day average at 3.84%.
More than 8,300 new cases and 28 deaths were reported on Wednesday.
