Hudson Valley celebrates Black History Month

Newburgh will be raising the Pan-African flag today at Broadway Park at 3:30 p.m.

Organizations across the Hudson Valley are celebrating the first day of Black History Month.
The Rye Arts Center is opening an exhibit for emerging Black artists. Curator and board member Kicki Storm says they have an incredible group of diverse artists representing up-and-coming generations. The exhibit opens at 6:30 tonight.
Also in celebration of Black History Month, Newburgh will be raising the Pan-African flag today at Broadway Park at 3:30 p.m.
