A Mount Vernon family is homeless on Easter Sunday after a fire tore through their home. The Taylor family says they were planning to go to church, but instead they are surveying the damage a fire caused to their home. Firefighters were able to contain the blaze and limit damage to the kitchen and a bedroom. Officials say no one was hurt. The Taylors say they will stay temporarily with friends and family until they can move back into their home. Fire officials say it looks like the blaze was electrical in nature.
