Greenburgh public housing tenants are slowly getting back hot water after not having it for the last month.
Town Supervisor Paul Feiner says Frank Morabito, the building inspector, has been devoting lots of time this week to ensure repair work was progressing on the hot water and water pressure issues.
Feiner says a mixing valve was installed Wednesday and all residents should now see a dramatic increase in pressure and hot water.
The last month has been hard for tenants, many of them seniors, who have either gone through the beginning of winter without hot water or have had to find it elsewhere.
Feiner says the town board and town officials will work with the Housing Authority to ensure inconveniences experienced by these tenants don't happen again.
