Home invader cracks safe
A home invasion overnight in Mount Vernon has left one resident terrified. Police say someone climbed into the back window of a house on Rich Avenue around 1 a.m. today and confronted the homeowner.

A home invasion overnight in Mount Vernon has left one resident terrified.
Police say someone climbed into the back window of a house on Rich Avenue around 1 a.m. today and confronted the homeowner.
The homeowner ran and called police.
Once back inside, investigators say a safe was found to be forced open with its contents missing.
No arrests have been made.
