A holiday lighting ceremony was held in Spring Valley Monday.
The lighting was held in Memorial Park. Trees were lit in the park, and a menorah was also present.
Village crews have been hard at work redoing the park for the last eight months.
The park now has new grass, trees and walking paths, as well as a new drainage system.
The lights will remain on the trees during the holiday season.
