It runs from Friday night until May 24. In that time organizers will show screenings for more than 100 short films, documentaries and feature films.
The content was hand-selected from a pool of 1,500 submissions.
A celebrity panel of judges will award filmmakers in several categories.
"First and foremost we are in this stunning location," says festival chairman Kenneth Del Vecchio. "Second, we have significant star power that comes here. So you can walk around and bump into celebrities from your favorite movies."
And Orange County businesses will also have a starring role in the event.
"We have great partners and great sponsors...all kinds of outstanding food and cocktails," Del Vecchio says.
Tickets start at about $11.
