A historic theater in the Hudson Valley is celebrating a major milestone.
The Lafayette Theater, marking 100 years, holds a significant place in Rockland's County’s history and community.
State Sen. Bill Weber (R) recently introduced a resolution in the Senate chambers to commemorate the theater's centennial anniversary.
During the celebration, the owner of the Suffern venue was also honored for their contribution to preserving this cultural landmark.
The Lafayette Theater, known for its single-screen movie house design, complete with balconies and a live musical organ, continues to enchant audiences with its timeless charm.
