4h agoThe Hispanic Democrats of Westchester announced Sunday their list of candidates for office in 2023.
The political group has been active in Westchester for around 40 years.
They made the announcement during an event at Salsa Picante Restaurant on Mamoroneck Avenue.
The group named 10 candidates for county legislature, town and city councils and mayor positions. Primary elections for many of these races are set to take place in March.
"We have the support of unions and the business community,” said organizer Robin Bikkal. “So, we know we're doing the right thing. The people who are running are people who were active in their respective communities."
