An organization is stepping up to deliver food Saturday to those who has tested positive for coronavirus.
Volunteers were seen delivering food to people in need in an Elmsford parking lot.
They say people who have self-quarantined of have tested positive for the virus can reach out to Hillside Food Outreach, and an emergency delivery will be made within 24 hours.
Last week, the organization began to deliver to those who tested positive for the virus.
Volunteers made about 300 deliveries Saturday in Westchester and Putnam counties and western Connecticut. They say it's more important than ever that they continue to deliver to people in need and do it safely.
Hillside Food Outreach is also bringing food to families in need who do not have the virus, but are taking the necessary precautions and are in self quarantine at home.
