Hillary Clinton took time out of her campaign for president to visit with some students in her adopted hometown of Chappaqua this morning.
Clinton met with students in a contemporary issues class at Horace Greeley High School.
Students at the school had mixed opinions on the visit. "I think that she's coming is really cool," said one student. Another said, "Me and a couple of my friends are going to print out some Bernie Sanders signs."
Others thought it was strange she just met with one class instead of the entire school. "You would think that if someone as important as this was coming they would have an entire school-wide assembly, but they're surprisingly not," says student Julian Robles.
A permission slip was sent home to parents announcing that Hillary Clinton would be at the high school, touring classrooms and speaking with students. The letter said parts of her visit were going to be filmed and photographed by her staff, and parents' permission was needed for their children to participate in the meetings with Clinton.
