Hillary Clinton was in her hometown library in Chappaqua Saturday to sign copies of her new book "What Happened" – where she chronicles her experiences during the 2016 election.
The book gives readers a personal insight into what it was like to be the first female U.S. presidential candidate for a major party. It also blames her loss in the general election on a number of factors, including former FBI Director James Comey's decision to reopen the investigation into her private emails just days before voters headed to the polls.
Many people sat outside the library for hours just so they wouldn't miss the chance to meet Clinton.
"I figured this would be a cool opportunity to get a signed book by someone that will continue to be a part of history," said Patrick Blair.
The book signing is part of an ongoing tour that's expected to run through December.
