Many Westchester residents say they are not letting high gas prices infringe on their Memorial Day plans.
AAA says more than 38 million Americans will travel at least 50 miles from home over the next four days, which is an increase from last year. Residents in Westchester traditionally hit the highways headed for beaches, parks or visits with relatives.
The price of gas in the county is topping $3.37 a gallon. However, many say the prices haven?t caused them to change their travel plans. Residents headed out for the long weekend say they will just have to live with the high price of gas.
