Heavy snow in New Rochelle Wednesday evening caused slick roads and major traffic problems.

Plow trucks were going up and down North Avenue, but it was hard to tell because the snow was falling down so heavily.

Many side streets had not yet been plowed by Wednesday evening.

Drivers were cautioned to take it slowly and allow extra time.
