Westchester County health officials are warning residents after a suspected rabid coyote attacked three people and two dogs near Siwanoy Country Club and Twin Lakes Park.

Police believe the animal has been killed.

Anyone bitten or scratched by an animal should seek medical care immediately and report it to the Health Department at 914-813-5000.

Officials remind residents to avoid wild animals, keep pets' rabies vaccines up to date and report any animal showing unusual behavior.
