Here are some stories making headlines across the Hudson Valley.
Bedford police say a 14-year-old boy remains hospitalized after being hit by a vehicle last Thursday. Police say the boy rode his bike intro traffic on Babbitt Road in the area of the Bedford Hills Elementary School. The driver did not have a chance to stop before hitting him. He remained on the scene until help arrived. No charges were filed.
Yorktown police tell News 12 they are still searching for a suspect wanted for an attempted burglary. Police say It happened in the area of Route 129 and Hayes Drive. They say the suspect was seen entering a red van operated by a second man. Police will remain in the area as they continue the search.
A dog owner is facing charges in the attack of two pet goats in Yorktown. Two huskies injured the goats and damaged a fence, last month on Hunterbrook Road. The goats are expected to be OK. The 41-year-old owner of the dogs heads to court in August to answer to two counts of "dog at large".
