Here are some stories making headlines across the Hudson Valley.

Village of Goshen police are investigating a call for a domestic shooting that they say turned out to be a hoax. Authorities say a man called them on Saturday, identified himself and claimed he shot his wife at 13 Marie Terrace. Police say when they responded to the residence, they found no one was hurt or anyone there by the name given.

North Salem police are also investigating a swatting incident. Officials say they got a bogus call reporting a man shot his girlfriend multiple times on Vail Lane.
