Here are some of the stories making headlines in the Hudson Valley.
Police say Aurora Finn, 35, was driving erratically when officers pulled her over on Ulster Avenue in Saugerties early Tuesday morning. According to police, Finn's license was suspended and she allegedly gave officers the wrong name. Officers say her BAC was .16%.
A Somers school bus driver has admitted to driving drunk with students on board. William Mendez was driving for the Somers School District back in December when he was pulled over. Officers say his blood alcohol content was close to three times the legal limit. He has been released on interim probation, and his license has been suspended. Mendez is set to be sentenced in September 2021.
A Nanuet man has been indicted on manslaughter charges following a crash in Pearl River that claimed the lives of two teenagers last October. Authorities say Jason Castro, 44, and another driver were involved in a speed contest on Route 304. Investigators say the two cars collided, and the other driver's car fell from the overpass. That driver survived, but her two teenage passengers were killed.
