Investigators reported that the incident occurred between exits 15 and 16 in Stony Point on Wednesday. According to authorities, the police car was stationary with its emergency lights activated due to a disabled vehicle when it was struck from behind. The driver of the striking vehicle was transported to the hospital for treatment.

Two men are facing charges for allegedly distributing lethal drugs in Dutchess County. The Drug Task Force disclosed that Johann Muñoz, of Beekman, sold counterfeit oxycodone pills that were later discovered to contain deadly fentanyl. Additionally, Timothy Robinson is accused of selling fentanyl following a prior arrest by the task force in July. Both individuals are charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance.

A New Windsor man is confronting felony charges after law enforcement apprehended him with an assortment of illegal drugs. Police executed a search warrant at Tyrone Hodge's residence as part of a joint investigation into ongoing drug sales. Authorities reported the seizure of cocaine, crack cocaine, fentanyl, ecstasy, and approximately $70,000 in cash. Hodge was arraigned and subsequently taken into custody at Orange County Jail.
