Here are some of the stories making headlines in the Hudson Valley.

There has been a break in a Wallkill murder case after an intensive 14-month manhunt. Police and the FBI have arrested Jamaad Murphy of Middletown. He's accused of shooting and killing Matthew Napoleoni outside of the Made in Puerto Rico Latin Cuisine and Sports Bar in Wallkill in November 2019. The 27-year-old Murphy is now being held at the Orange County jail without bail.

All flags on state buildings will be lowered to half-staff this morning to pay tribute to the three soldiers killed in a tragic helicopter crash upstate. Officials say it was a New York Army National Guard helicopter based at Rochester International Airport that went down Wednesday night during a routine training mission in the Town of Mendon.            

Police say one person was killed in a crash involving a school bus in Fishkill on Route 9D Wednesday afternoon. Officials say the person was killed after the car they were in collided with the bus just north of Red School House Road. The bus driver was injured and taken to a nearby hospital. No children were on board.
