A 27-year-old Montgomery man is facing charges of rape and sexual abuse in the town of Crawford. Police say they responded to a phone call last Wednesday that a 27-year-old woman was sexually assaulted. An investigation revealed that the woman was raped on two separate occasions within the town. Two days later, police apprehended Tyler Hutting-Soyka. He was arraigned in Orange County Court and is currently being held at the Orange County Jail on $2,500 cash bail.
Several assaults have been reported at a facility in Somers dedicated to individuals with intellectual disabilities. State police confirm the incidents, noting that the victims sustained minor injuries. At least one person has been transported to Putnam Hospital Center.
Paul Feldman, a former doctor from Dutchess County, has pleaded guilty to an insider trading scheme.
