Here are some stories making headlines across the Hudson Valley.
A man is now facing charges in connection with two attempted robberies in Fishkill. Police say the first happened at a Mobil gas station on Route 52. The man allegedly demanded money from the clerk, indicating he had a weapon in his pocket. When the clerk refused, the suspect ran away. Shortly after, police say they got another call about an attempted home invasion on Katz Place. The suspect was arrested at the scene and charged with robbery and criminal mischief.
A man is recovering after being stabbed early Sunday morning in Mount Vernon. Police say the incident occurred just before 3 a.m. near South 4th Avenue and East Sandford Boulevard. There has been no reports of any arrests yet.
A scary scene unfolded in Nanuet as a car rolled over on Route 304. Police say everyone in the vehicle was able to get out on their own. One person suffered a minor injury. No word on a cause.
