Here are some stories making headlines across the Hudson Valley.
Police have identified the driver in fatal Nanuet motorcycle crash as Peter Etienne, 36, of Spring Valley. Etienne slammed into the back of another motorcycle on Route 304 Saturday morning. No one else was hurt. 
A Cortlandt man is in jail after being accused of assaulting two state troopers. Officials say they pulled over Aaron Hudson Tuesday night on Warren Street in the Town of Somers. They say they began searching his car and found crack cocaine. When Hudson was being arrested, the trooper says he tried to steal a gun. All three officers involved suffered non-life threatening injuries. Hudson is at the Westchester County Jail without bail.
Fire officials say flames heavily damaged a home on Charlotte Lane in Tivoli on Tuesday. They say homeowners were able to gather some personal belongings before escaping safely. News 12 is told firefighters arrived on the scene within minutes - and knocked down the fire shortly after.
