The Suffern teen faces up to six months in state prison and five years of probation after a fatal DWI crash. Joseph Debellis, 17, admitted to driving drunk and smoking marijuana the morning he crashed on Route 202 in Montebello. Jacqueline Zangrilli, 16, died at the scene.
State Police have identified the Yonkers man killed in an accident on the Sprain Brook Parkway on Sunday. Police say the driver, Andrew Akroush, crashed through the center guardrail. The vehicle overturned and landed in the reservoir in Greenburgh. No word yet on what caused the crash.
A Putnam County man is arrested for sharing images and videos of child sexual abuse online. Authorities say the 21-year-old suspect was sending the material from a home in the Village of Brewster. He faces five counts of promoting an obscene sexual performance by a child. The suspect was arranged and released.
