A man has pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in a 2019 cold case, according to the Orange County District Attorney's Office. Dijion Constantine, 23, admitted to killing Sebastian Avilan-Medina, who was shot to death in his home on Knapp Avenue in March 2019. Constantine was arrested in April 2022. He will be sentenced in September.
A weekend crash on Route 9 involving a Prius and a Jeep sent three people to the hospital, according to police. The incident occurred when the Prius was turning into the Holiday Inn Express.
