Here are some stories making headlines across the Hudson Valley.
A driver has been arrested on DWI charges stemming from a six-car crash in Yonkers. The incident occurred Saturday after 11 p.m. at Caryl Avenue and South Broadway. Police say one vehicle caused the accident, damaging five other vehicles and a utility pole. Only one person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. Officers arrested the driver of the car that caused the crash for drunk driving.
A man is now facing grand larceny charges for stealing a car. The car's owner reported their vehicle stolen Wednesday from a mechanic shop in Airmont. Ramapo police then linked the alleged thief to another larceny at Walmart several hours earlier and arrested him. The car was successfully returned to the victim.
A Kingston man is facing several charges for endangering the welfare of a child. Saugerties police say Michael Green Junior was arrested after a "dispute complaint." Greene was released on an appearance ticket and is set to appear in court at a later date.
