A 13-year-old is now facing a criminal charge for threatening to bomb and shoot Yorktown police. Investigators say the teenager emailed police over the weekend, threatening to shoot them and plant a bomb at the police station. The suspect was charged with juvenile delinquency and is due back in court on June 12.
A Port Chester man will spend 15 years in state prison for sexually assaulting two teenagers. The Westchester District Attorney's Office says Richard Olmino sexually assaulted an 18-year-old woman on Parsons Street and a 16-year-old girl in Rye Town Park. Olmino pleaded guilty in April to a criminal sex act and sexual abuse. He also has two open warrants in Connecticut and a pending criminal case in Suffolk County.
A Rockland County man is facing charges for a lewd act in the ladies' room in Rye Town Park. A woman entered the restroom and found a man exposing himself Sunday night. Kim Govern-Ali of Nanuet was arrested and charged with public lewdness. He was released and is due in Rye City Court on June 18.
