A new Amazon delivery station in Westchester County open its doors to the public for the first time on Friday.
Tens of thousands of packages are delivered every day from the Hawthorne facility, which serves towns in Westchester and Greenwich, Connecticut.
Senior delivery station manager Arjun Kulshreshtha said they want to make sure people's days are a bit brighter, whether its through their deliveries or from tours like the one they provided on Friday.
"It's just a really good way to build that relationship with the community where we serve our customers. So this is just Amazon giving back to our community, making sure we have that open line of communication with our customers," he said.
The Westchester facility said applications are still open for associates and drivers for those who are interested in joining the team.
