Hastings-on-Hudson officials held a meeting on Tuesday and approved a proposal that will bring a new multimedia production studio to the village.
Officials voted to approve the zoning for the Electric Owl Studio, meaning the company is one step closer to building the studio on a portion of The Graham School campus.
Over 20 people attended the special meeting, including developers and representatives from the studio. One village planner also read through a document that analyzed how the project could impact things like traffic, the environment, and the residential taxes.
No comments were taken from the public during this session, officials added. They got around 100 positive comments in support of the studio.
The developers will now have to go through site plan approval with the village's planning board.
