4h agoHundreds of people who would not otherwise have a Thanksgiving feast enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner, thanks to an organization called SHARE The Project.
The mood was festive and thankful at Hastings High School's annual "Thanksgiving Dinner for the Homeless” on Tuesday night.
The school's gymnasium had table settings to serve 400 people. Guests enjoyed a hearty salad, dinner rolls, fruit and a wholesome turkey dinner.
The meals were served by more than 100 local high school volunteers.
Children who attended the event also received donated stuffed animals, books, hats and gloves.
