A Harrison woman is nursing a fractured back and a hip injury after a road rage incident led to a nasty crash Wednesday.
Tracey Morris says she was on the way to a work appointment when she merged eastbound onto Interstate 287 near exit 5. According to Morris, the car she merged in front of began tailgating her. She says the driver followed her for about three miles before clipping her car, sending it flipping.
Witnesses describe the tailgating car as an older model, dark-gray minivan, possibly a Dodge Caravan. Cops say there may be damage on the right side of the vehicle. Police ask anyone with information to call state police in Tarrytown at 914-524-0223.
