A local synagogue is giving back this week during the celebration of Hanukkah.
What began as a way of celebrating a birthday has morphed into a wonderful show of support and charity for needy families and their children.
A collection of diapers at the Jewish Community Center in Harrison will help more than 800 local families in need.
Rabbi Eytan Hammerman was about to turn 44 when he came up with the idea that will benefit so many.
The diapers come in all sizes, and the donations came in from all over the country, including from Westchester.
