The Harrison Fire Department opened its doors to the public this weekend in hopes of finding volunteers.
The fourth annual Open House and Recruitment Drive was held Sunday.
A ceremony was also held for 2-year-old Zaid Nesheiwat, who died suddenly of unexplained causes. His parents were at the event raising money for his foundation.
Nesheiwat's parents presented money to the fire department at the ceremony. They say the best way to deal with tragedy is to give back to others.
