Harriman State Park ATV accident victim identified

The victim was identified as  Andrew Columbia, 58, of Suffern.

State police say a body found in Harriman State Park in Suffern died as a result of an ATV accident.
The victim was identified as  Andrew Columbia, 58, of Suffern. An unattended ATV was found not far from where the man’s body was located.
Police say Columbia was riding the ATV up a steep hill when the vehicle flipped and he was thrown from the ATV.
His’s body was found Sunday morning by a man riding an ATV with his kids.
First responders took about 3½ hours to get the body out of the area. The only access point into the woods was behind 8 Regis Court in the Village of Montebello.
