Shoppers at the Cross County Shopping Center in Yonkers got a taste of Hanukkah festivities last night.
The Chabad of Yonkers hosted the event complete with a giant menorah, music, singing and dancing.
Organizers say that everyone, not just Jewish people, should celebrate the joys of the season. "Come back together and be in peace. Live together and remember the special miracles God still provides. We can have miracles in our lives," says Rabbi Mendy Hurwitz.
Another candle will be lit each night during the eight-day celebration.
